manual says thermostat housing unit has to be changed if you need to change thermostat, and that you cannot seperate them. then how come i can buy seperate thermostat from small motor factor shop? can thermostat be changed once housing is removed?

Hi Dave, From the Ford workshop manual, the housing/thermostat has to be replaced as a unit, the thermostat cannot be replaced seperately, it can on the 2.0 diesel nige110162@hotmail.co.uk
