How to fix my ford cmax clutch spring?

Hi
I stopped my car today and a spring fell out of what i think was the clutch at my feet, not sure why this has happened and how to fix it can anyone please help!!

Thank you very much for your answer but we have no money to take it to the garage do you know where it attaches to? or do you know of any good websites that would show me how to do it, i have the new spring just cant seem to fix it.

sounds like the clutch pedal return spring has broken.these are quite commen and very fiddly to replace. better off taking to a dealer.they will charge approx half an hours labour.
