light problems on mondeo 2000 w reg?

back lights not working, front dipped not working, no 12v supply to either. fuses and relays working.

Sounds very much like a light switch fault I had similar on a Sierra which is a low grade Mondeo as far as I am concerned. It turned out to be the switch mechanism broken so the side lights received no current. The trouble with elec faults is it's trial and error.
