Hoover HNF7167 water not emptying. I first thought it was pump, but?

Hoover HNF7167 water not emptying. I first thought it was pump, but tested it and it works. Put it back on and now nothing works, just a faint glimmer behind buttons. Has anybody any idea what's wrong? (Could it possibly be control pcb?) If so where can I get spare parts?

I've had the same problem with the terminal connectors shorting out against each other where they connect onto the drain pump.
At present everything else works except the drain pump. I checked the pump by running a cable straight from the socket onto the pump, using spade connectors. Ran okay.
I put the machine on a drain cycle and checked for voltage at the pcb connections. Not got any voltage. I checked the cables for continuity and that was okay.
Looks like I might need a new pcb unless I can find a fuse blown on the board.

have just had the same problem and found that the 2 terminals on to the pump have been shorting out. i am now not getting the 240v to the pump and think the circuit board is now blown
