I have a leaking Rack and Pinion Assembly (oil seeping out on the R/H -passenger-side) on my 1983 CHRYSLER Lebaron station wagon.
There seem to be 4 different rack and pinion assemblies possible, manufactured by TRW or Saginaw each in 2 different models SBA or SBB.
There are no markings on the Rack and Pinion Assembly itself, only a tag reading "475 3D 26B". The body code plate nor the Assy itself have any SBA of SBB number marked. I can make pictures of markings or body code plate available. So far, the body code plate nor the VIN (lower left of body code plate) couldn't help me figure it out. Can you help me identifying whether it is a TRW or Saginaw assembly and a SBA or a SBB model?
