Lost my one and only key for my scooter. I have purchased a twin lock barrel set and i would be interested to know if its a job that a complete novice could complete safely. Any special tools req? Anyone know of a website which shows me detailed plans of bike model? Many thanks.By the way the bikes 8 years old so the key isnt key coded.

easy job. take your time .it might have shear bolts on it. if so use a center punch and hammer to tap the bolt loose enough to screw it off.
