I have a hotpoint tumble dryer model aquarious TDC30 which although switches on and even tumbles as normal produces no heat either at the low or high setting.

the thermastat on most can be reset it is behind panel on the back of the dryer, take the panel off and fixed to the inside of the panel is the heating elements which are attached by 2 screws be carefull as elements delicate, take the heating element off the panel and the thermastat's are attached to a metal plate above the elements look like 2 black pennys but a bit bigger , one will have a pin hole in it use a needle to put into hole to reset thermastat u should hear and feel it click ,it should now heat up then just put back together and check all filters clear or will trip again . hope this helps

This could well be the thermostats at the rear of the unit....with build up of fluff these can 'trip' - relatively easy to replace (Hotpoint have replacement 'kit' containing two thermostats - one for low heat and one for high heat).
Common fault....you can google this if you wish to confirm the answer.

Sounds as if the heating element has gone and needs replacement.
