How can I fix my Vauxhall Corsa?

My W reg Vauxhall Corsa 1L starts fine when cold, but after about 30 minutes running cuts out when on tick-over and won't restart until the engine is cold again. I suspect the air mass meter but would welcome any other suggestions before laying out for a new sensor.
