But add it to the kitchen appliances section by copy your question and PASTE into the Gas cooker subsection. However check the following.
I would go to the shop that sells the paint and check the makers on the tin. See if there's a phone number or web address and contact them they will tell you the best of their product to use. Heat resistant paint I've seen is not meant for direct heat only for areas that get hot. Use the wrong heat resiting paint and you could have more than the burner lighting the paint might catch alight too.
