well for ur transit diesel a take it def do the oil n fuel its glow plugs so unless its a bad starter dont touch them should do fine wi that there no bother the filters are easy to get 2 fuels just a push up n twist job.

well ive never had any kind of van but lots of cars..
a basic service for you to do would b to change the oil and oil filter followed by new spark plugs.
