We have a friend that owns a store and they use a Royals CMS 8160 Plus cash register.
When they lose power the register dumps its memory.
Does anybody know where the battery comapartment is inside of this machine? Looked HI and LOW. I must be missing something or there is no battery.

The Manual is incomprehensible. I am trying to program my tax rates for Ontario and find it completely baffling. It doesn't tell you where the battery is anyways.

It's next to the paper rolls under the printer cover in the back left corner. Pull the cover off the battery pack to expose four AA batteries.

We acuired a used one that does not have the main key (to change the roll or lock the drawer). Additionally, it does not have the maunal. Anyone that could help, it would be appreciated.
