My wife has managed to snap the lid off her petrol cap and although I haven't got round to replacing the part, I have removed the broken part and it seems very straightforward. The lockable cap needs to be removed and then the whole assembly is only held in by 3 tork/star drive screws. The whole section can then be removed and replaced.
