i have a vaillant combi boiler and a leaking rad valve that i need to replace how do i go about this

how do i shut the water off
do i need to drain the ch down

you need to drain the ch down, change the valve and then refill using your filling loop that you use to top pressure up on boiler, then bleed rads.
