Noisy Potterton Promax HE Plus?

I had a Potterton Promax HE Plus installed June 2008.It has just developed a noise like an aeroplane when starting and boosting the heating.Heateam suggeted this was due to the pump being sited 15 feet away from boiler (Sited in loft). I am taking this further I am wasting lots of time trying to get Heateam to resolve.Does anyone else suffer from a noisy Potterton Promax HE Plus boiler.
Very Annoyed from Dagenham, January 2009
Noise on start up (explosive ignition) : early models had a poor set of electrodes fitted, also the burner skins are prone to failing - both known by Potterton, both updated

Noise during operation: Inner door seal (red) are prone to causing problems, fan venturi may have burrs left on from manufacturing, gas valve and small copper pipe (5mm impulse tube) prone to failing,

Whistling noise : usually down to burrs at the top of the combustion chamber around flue housing - will need to be deburred.

Yep...we have brand new central heating pipework throughout our house and a new boiler nliek this one. Our pump is about 3 feet away and the boiler is unbelievably noisy...like we're in some 10,000 ton ship's engine room! We can hear it rom 3 stories up.

Hi. Yes, we have exactly the saem problem with exactly the same boiler. The noise is so loud that you can hear it throughout the house even thought the boiler is situated in the garage. Any update on the cause?
