I have a Stihl MS170 chainsaw for about 7 months, and it has stalled on me once. I have played with the carburetor settings and I don't know what the settings are. could anyone tell me how to do it step by step. Also could you tell me how many turns it takes to run in full capacity. One other thing.
I think that i have to clean out the air filter and make it so it would run better......

ps not a good thing to play with carburetor whe saw has only stalled once.could be alot of things like a good cleaning.good luck

do you have the saw set for cold weather .look at the airfilter there should be a snow flake and a sun this tim of year shold be on snow flake.to do so take airfilter out then spark plug and turn rubber boot.
