No heat in oven?

Hi
I have an EOB5630X built in oven which doesn't heat up, although the fan works. Is this terminal or can I replace a part? Can't afford an engineer!!
Hope you can help.

Hi John
That was really helpful information, thanks

The fan works, which suggests power is getting to the oven and that the oven swiych is at least partly working

It could be the heating has failed, whihc would mean a new element or that the temperature controller has failed

A genuine element is £22. A compatible element is £9 at

or via a shorter link

You will need to check the old element has failed first.
