How can I copy a dvd to my computer's media player?
I would really appeate it it would save me alot of trouble when I travel

Do you mean you want to extract the Music or Video from the DVD onto your Laptop for to play with Media Player?

If so you will need to Rip the Music or Video from the CD or DVD which is simple enough to do. You will see the option to RIP at the top of Media Player so just insert your CD or DVD and Rip away ;-)
