I have a peugeot 206 1.1 LX 2003 when the headlights are on the indicators will not work, if you turn the headlights off then the indicators will work??

if the light switch is on the indicator arm then i would start there.sometimes switch fails.

,with ign on watch rear lights -make sure they are all on at the same time, and see what is happening to them i suspect that you might have a poor earth connection on one or both rear light clusters [this will show up by either or both lights dim/flashing etc when another switched on or going out when brake pressed etc]
