Hotpoint CTD40 drier wet condenser. Water not going to top tray?

Hello! The drier works in that it gets hot and blows air but the condenser unit is building up a body of water in it instead of it collecting in the drawer at the top. I've checked for blockages but can't find anything obvious. Any ideas anyone?
Thanks

Ok I can now supply an answer to this mystery myself! During a removal of the drier for some other reason, the white pipe at the back, that sends the water up to the collection box, had become disconnected at the bottom! Not easy to spot as there is a very difficult to remove cover to get off in order to relocate the pipe and you can't tell it is disconnected just by looking at it. It must have got caught on something when I pulled the drier out previously.

OK thanks Mark I will take a closer look!

not familiar with this particular make/unit but...

could be a blockage in an internal pipe from the bottom of the consender holder sump to the lift pump?

or maybe the lift pump is weak or intermitant/stopped. the lift pump pushes the water up from the bottom of the dryer (from the resoviour that fills from the water taken from the condensor unit) to the top water tray.
