just bought a branx pro runner treadmill motorised it runs for 7 seconds then cuts off to a bleeping sound and a flashing E1 sign when i press clear-set and start it again it does exactly the same again

Nothin to worry about happens on loads of machines, sensor prob, costs a couple of pounds to resolve it, who did you buy from? they should replace otherwise you should be able to get hold of it easily to be honest. Mate of mine had a real expensive reebok treadmill that had same problem!

That is simply a snesor problem, can be resolved in a few mins and common in most treadmills from time to time! you will be glad to know no biggy

According to the user manual, Error 1 indicates a problem with:
Speed Sensor
Drive Board
or
Connecting Wires
It says it's likely to be the speed sensor and "Usually after changing it, the machine will be OK"
