Access to Electrolux EOB5630X element?

John recently gave me sound advice about my oven not getting hot although the fan works.
Further to his advice on fitting new element, is it possible to access old element [by removing fan] from inside the oven?
This is last desperate attempt at repair because whoever put it in has not left enough cable slack to get oven out - in fact the cable has been plastered into the wall- so short of cutting it there is no chance of getting to the back!
HELP!!

if its the fan oven element you are talking about then yes you can get access from inside the oven cavity.SWITCH THE OVEN OFF AT THE WALL.remove the screws from the back panel (fan guard) and you will see the element once removed.undo the element screws and gentally pull the wiring through the holes whilst still attached to the element.refit in reverse.
