My Profrom 800VF treadmil belt stops - why? ?

My Proform 800VF treadmil starts off really fast them the belt stops. The incline continue to work, the power reamins on, but the belt will not run until I reset it and then again it takes off really fast and stops after about 5 seconds. How can I fix this?
