We have 4 year old Ariston boiler and an extended warranty with D&G. Our hot water constantly alternates from from hot to cold so bath is always luke warm D&G aslKd Plumb Rite to investigate who said that plate to plate heat exchanger fault wouldn't be covered by guarantee. They have recommended Power Flush for £500. Our 7 radiators heat fine so do we need power Flush just for problem with hot water? Is it certain to solve hot water problem?

Im no Combi expert but are they taking the p***.A system of 4 yrs old shouldnt need a power flush,especially as you are saying that your radiators are ok.It would nearly be as cheap to fit a brand new boiler.I would get a second opinion from an expert who is A1 familiar on your particular boiler.
