how to fix my tension on a empisal sewing machine?

I have been loaned an Empisal sewing machine but the tension is faulty. It looks as tho the discs have been taken off and not put back correctly. I have no manual so would be grateful if someone could tell me how the discs should look.

Hello Cathy,
There should be as you look at the tension, the dial, a disc with a pin going into the machine, a coned disc, a flat disc and then another coned disc, the reason for the two coned discs and one in the middle is so you can do twin needle sewing if the machine does it, if it does not then you will not have the disc between the two coned discs.
