I can advise you this is common. The push fit link pin wears out and the link falls off. You can refit it once or twice before this gets real boring. You can buy new links which also fall off !! Best to tie down the dead wiper so it does not flop over unexpectedly til it is repaired. You need to dismantle the system and bolt it together, or renew the motor and links with a new one. A 2nd hand one will be just as worn !! so £50-£60 for a new motor.
Remove wiper arms. Unscrew the plastic skuttle. Unplug and unbolt the motor. Install the new motor and refit wipers. Should take no longer than 1/2 hr to remove and refit - but best left to skinny hands.

Sounds like the arm has come loose. Lift bonnet, find arm from passenger wiper, just below the windscreen, and push it back into the hole in the arm from the motor. It is a press fit and should clip into place. If not, it is worn out and a new motor will be needed as they do not supply the arms separately.

Sounds like I have got same problem. Connecting shaft to motor falls off end. Fiat suggest replace total mechanism £120 plus labour. Any suggestion for simpler/cheaper solution.
