How to diagnose Fisher Paykel GWL10 blowing its fuse?

I was able to take the main controller board out, and found that the 3A fuse was popped. So I soldered across the fuse on the board, and installed an external in-line fuse on the outside of the controller (to keep things safe!!! and accessible). Needless to say, the slow-blow 3A fuse keeps blowing (but now easily replaced). Can this be repaired at all? And where do I look?

Hi! I too am doing some repairs on my Fisher & Paykel machine and the fuse has blown in the process. Just a WARNING: If the fuse keeps blowing there is something wrong with the electrics/electronics. This is very DANGEROUS! Something is shorting somewhere and could give you a shock, possibly fatal. Without the fuse it would be other wiring in the machine that would blow, most likely in the "computer". You wouldn't be able to fix that and it would cost $100's to replace! Good luck, RJ.
