How to fix scratches on resin top table?
I have a coffee table with two end tables that were made by a friend over 25 years ago. The tops have two rows of rope around the edges and then the tops and edges are layered in resin. One end table has some deep scratches. The coffeetable has a dulled finish now from all the wear over the years. Is there anyway I can put another coat of resin on them to brighten them up? How do I prepair the surface? Do I sand first? Do I paint on the resin or pour it on?
