HOW TO REFIX INNER BUILT-IN GLASS DOOR?

MY DAUGHTER's ZANUSSI ELECTRIC BUILT-IN SINGLE OVEN DOOR GLASS HAS DETACHED FROM ITS FIXING OR SEAL SOMEHOW. DID IT HAVE A VACUUM SEAL PRIOR TO THIS OCCURENCE? OR IS IT A CASE OF REMOVING THE HINGED DOOR COMPLETELY TO ATTEMPT ANY SORT OF REPAIR WHATSOEVER OR IS IT A SPECIALIST JOB COSTING THE USUAL ARM AND A LEG PLUS WAITING TIME INVOLVED UNTIL THE PART REQUIRED IS ACQUIRED ?

Hi ck, it's the inner glass, but still can't remove drop down door completely to allow better access for preparation in cleaning all surrounding surfaces ready for applying oven door glue which we have now acquired.Any further suggestions for door removal ?
THANX

Hi Eddie,
Thanx for the quick reply Re. my oven problem ! If no success, at least it's a great way to lose weight with no oven cooking until I resolve our dilemma ! Thanx again.

Hi
Normally on ovens if you grip the door when open either side of the door, and close to the hinges and twist it downwards, it will release the hinges and you can pull the door forward and the hinges slide out.
It is possible to re glue the inner glass by gluing it - you need special glue, and using a glass lifting sucker to pull it back into position. However it is far better to remove the outer panel and access the inner glass properly. this enables you to make sure you can clean the inner glass properly (otherwise you will not get a good bond), and apply some pressure to the glass for a reasonable period of time once glued.
A company called www.ovendoorglue.co.uk sells a kit to glue the glass into position at a good price. Or look for high temperature silicone glue suitable for temperatures up to 300C.
Good luck

inner door glass

BOTH PANELS ARE HIGH TEMP . RESISTANT GLASS, BUT IT IS THE INNER OF THE TWO THAT HAS DETACHED FROM THE ADHESIVE (FACTORY FITTED)! IT HAS ONLY ONE DOOR(PULL DOWN)TYPE TO OPEN. I ALSO CAN'T FATHOM OUT HOW TO REMOVE THE ACTUAL DOOR TOTALLY CARRY OUT ANY SUCH REPAIR SHOULD I ACQUIRE SOME ADHESIVE AT A LATER DATE TO RE-FIX SAME.

is it the inner door glass or the outer door glass?
