Is the thermoset idea (prevents boiling over) still on the market?

I have inherited a Moffatt 3500 DL thermoset gas hob in our new house. It is clearly old, but the technology is excellent. The thermoset ring allows you to bring pans to the boil and then allows a gentle simmer without boiling over as the gas ring 'senses' when boiling point is reqched. Is such a feature still available on a gas hob? What make ?
