the same light comes on on my fiat punto?

the same light comes on on my fiat punto but the engine doesnt fire, it just keeps turning over, i replaced the fuel pump but there doesnt seem to be any fuel coming to the engine, is it possible that the ecu is not sending the fuel to the engine because of a faulty injector or worn plugs/plug leads?

it sounds like the same fault i had on my Punto, is the light an orange one on the left hand side of the dash display that looks like a key. If it is , the fault sounds like it the ECU itself and the key is no longer programmed to it. There are 2 ways to fix this one is to get the ecu and keys replaced at your local fiat dealership which will cost around £600, or do what i did find a local auto electrician who can virginise the ECU so the key is no longer programmed to it and the immobiliser is permantly disarmed, this should cost in the region of £100 - £150 and saves having to have new keys and locks all round. I forgot there is a third choice that requires you to have the original red key supplied with the car so they can reprogramme your blue key to the ECU at your local Fiat dealer who told me this would cost about £70, but i did not have the red key to get this done so i went for option 2.
