Why can't I shift from park?

In the morning here in Northen Illinois when I turn my car on in the morning my car which is a 1995 Olds 88 LSS won't shift out of park even though I have the brake pedal to the floor. The car will only shift after I've run the car for 30 minutes in park then I have to move the steering wheel and push the brake to the floor then eventually it will shift from park. But if I try to turn the car off the key won't come out and the shifter won't lock in drive either. Now if I drive the car for 10 minutes everything is fine please help me this is getting ridiculous. It's only been this way for 4 days

It could be the brake switch for the safety devive so small children can`t get it out of park unless the brake pedal is pressed but could also be a misadjusted shift cable ...after car has run it must be heating up something possible to help shift
your key cylinder could be the problem too .....I have never hear of one coming out of adjustment unless someone has gone into the steering colum recently ...but key won`t go into off position unless car is in PARK ...cable problem binding possiable
