Water doesn't pump through when the cycle starts; I have been told to change the water valve. My question is how do you do that?

the valve in question is the fill valve that the water hose attaches to. it should simply be a matter of diconnecting the water supply, removing the top cover to the machine, and undoing the retaining screws that locate the valve. then simply replace in reverse with the new valve. last thing is to change the wires over from the old valve to the new.
