I have a 1997 (R reg) 5 door, 2.5 tds Frontera. While I am driving the engine just suddenly stalls, for no apparant reason! I took it to a diesel specialist, who said, that he could not access the engine management system. " No codes, no idea as to what it could be?" was his reply. So if anyone can help, as apart from this problem it's perfect. Thanks

Hi Craig, if you can find the diagnostic plug it's under the dash to the right of the steering wheel, it has sixteen pins on the row with the longer edge from the left count along to pin six, if there is a pin there then you can read the code yourself, short pin 6 to earth, switch ignition to on "run" do not start the engine the management light will then flash the code you have to count them, if there is'nt a pin 6 then you have to use diagnostic code reader, but I would expect there to be a pin there. nige110162@hotmail.co.uk
