How can i fix my worcester 24 i combi boiler?

I had my central heating on and at the same time started running a bath when the water suddenly started running cold in both the hot water tap and the central heating now the burner doesn't start up at all for either heating or for hot water.

On investigation i noticed that the water pressure at the time was below 1 bar when it should have been 2 bar the thermostat switch has not been tripped

anyone any ideas please ?

Im no heating engineer, but I had same prob, I had to fit a new fan, which was an easy job. If yours is jamming, which the old style ones did (if your 24cdi is older than about 2003), this will stop boiler igniting pilot as safety precedure, then switch boiler off automatically. The fan is located at top of the boiler, behind front panels, so listen to see if it runs when you switch heating on. If you are left with flashing lights, remove front panel on boiler, on the reverse of this panel is a guide tellin you what the different flashes mean.
If it is the fan you should def consider changing yourself, easy.
