How to fit a Rover 75 rear brake sensor?

Needed to fit a new rear brake sensor but the light still showing on the dash. Is there any technique to getting this to go off as I thought it would just be a case of plugging the new one in? Thanks

I just fitted a new one last week and as soon as it was fitted the light was out. Don't want to teach my grandmother how to suck eggs but have you checked the front one as well
