how do i replace the speed sensor on a ford focus 2001 where is it located ? cheers for any help

hi, the speed sensor is a plastic plug which is fitted into the top of the gearbox, which is accessible from behind the engine from under the bonett.
the sensor plug is held into the gearbox by a steel pin which locks the plug in place.

hi cliff, what do you mean by a speed sensor? as most speed sensor are designed to sense what speed you are doing and adjust lightness of the steering during parking, On electrical steering pump systems..
