Dyson DC04?

Hello

How do I get into the section of the Dyson that houses the cable entry point? There seems to be a section of the moulding that should just 'pop' off but when prise with a screwdriver it will not budge. I need to get the the cable entry point as the cable is causing the cleaner to cut out. When waggled about it works again but this seems a bit dangerous.

Please can any one help me?

I used the drilling method, made it easy. mind you the screw to remove is one of those automotive 5 cornered types, but a small screwdriver did the trick.
Need either two new connectors or a dab hand with asomething to prise them open and solder new wires on. works perfick. Gaz 9/12/05 just did mine
