Water very oily I had the same problem To have this fixed by rover is very expensive. I got onto ebay (Mobile Land Services) Jason this chap does a modified version. He is a Rover trained machanic with his own businessand uses Rover parts, repairs Rovers at a far less price and explains what the problems are.
The original rover gasket is the problem there is a modified version (thicker) that he fits plus other parts required parts. I am a precision just offering help
