i have a 99 t reg 2.0 di vectra and it broke down, the rac technician plugged it in the computer and it says egr fault does any1 know where this is located?? and if its easy to sort out?? thanx

egr valve is located on front of inlet manifold at the front of the engine dome shaped affair with a 4mm vacuum pipe going to it and held on with 2x torx bolts egr control valve is located on ns inner wing just follow the vacuum pipe ..however if the fault code was po400 critical systems failure its probably not the egr valve if it dosent run it is most likely to be the diesel pump the racscan only reads eobd fault codes and is inconclusive on vauxhall diagnosis ..i own a rac approved garage and regularily diagnose vauxhalls on behalf of the rac
