Restore End of Worktop?

I have obtained an offcut of Laminate Worktop to fit in a study. One end of it it quite rough and bare, is there a way I can relaminate(?) that end and make it presentable?

you just need an edging strip i.e. a strip of laminate in the same colour. This is applied to the particleboard surface using adhesive then trimmed with a craft knife.
If you cannot source a piece of matching laminate trim, from your local hardware store, the also sell aluminium end caps i.e. a piece of alluminium which simply screws to the end to finish the top

Depends on the pattern on it but there's a high chance of you getting a strip of stuff (or something that might blend in) to stick on the end from the likes of B&Q or a local joiner may have some. Comes in a roll a bit like sellotape. You would probably need to sand your end flat first and make sure it's dust free before gluing though.

Hope this helps.
