I am driving an Audi A4 1998 model. My immobiliser is not working after I changed batteries. Even after I replace the oldone its still not working, now I have to open and lock my car manually. What can I do?

Do you mean imobiliser or remote central locking?

If its the remote cenrtal locking it can usually be fixed by puting the key into the drivers door lock and operating the remote fob while the key is in the lock. The car will then 'sync' itself with the fob

You need to take it to dealer and get your key programmed to the ECU. 5 minute job
