My hotpoint tumble dryer TDC32S works find until it nears the end of the dry and then it trips the main fuse
to the plug sockets. If tumble dryer left for a day would work again for a while then do the same again I could'nt see anything that could cause the short.

what is happening as it trips out?
is the motor running, it should be, to keep the clothes moving, the heater should also be on.
does it do a full cycle after being left? I assume it does not work for a time after it has tripped the circuit,
Possible heater. Only got a heater motor and timer. timer is just a switch. can you select a lower temperature. what if you select a shorter dry cycle. Is it fully vented, if not moisture will build up inside to cause a short
