taking off rear wheel on a mtd model 1600 riding mower?

is there something special that needs to be done on the mower to remove the rear wheels i removed the center bolt and they will not budge what do i need to do? MTD MODEL 1600 RIDING MOWER

This is a common thing with tractors. Use a good penitrating oil and let it soak for a day or two then take a propane torch and heat the rim not the axle this will make the rim expand and with luck a couple of good hits on the inside with a heavy hammer it will come loose. To reinstall use never seize on the axle so the problem dosen't happen again. There has been quite a few that I have seen that had to be cut off as a last resort. Good luck

your wheel is siezed to axle shaft try pb blaster or wd40 and a hammer on the inside of wheel
