does it go out when you restart engine after its warmed up....if so could be faulty glow plugs or the relay so ive been told ..get them electricly tested.. thats something ive got to get done now £30 worth of parts and easy diy jobto replace

if your garage could not find the fault you need to take it to a better garage that has the facilitys to put your vehicle on a diagnostic machine if the serv light is on there will be a fault code in your engine ecu there are a lot of things it could be but without doing a diagnostic run on it you wont find it ..try an rac approved garage or if your in a breakdown club call them out rac aa etc have diagnostic facilitys onboard thier vehicles

I had same diagnostic message on my diesel scenic some time ago which proved to be a glow plug failure which the garage changed under warranty. The same diagnostic has re occurred and I suspect it is the same again, the engine starts and runs fine so I have ignored it. Renault dealers Arnold Clarke recommended I had all four changed as one failed item can put strain on the rest, funny how they only changed the one under warranty???
