Vivaro f9q760 1.9 CDTI 2005?

Have set timing up on marks on belt but engine will not rev over 2000, have tried belt timing one notch each side and no improvement, problem has arisen after replacing all the valves after timing belt snapped!

It seems like timing to me.. have you any ideas.

I just did a 2006 and the cam had no marks to align to head (pulley has mark). the marks are on the belt. At the bottom of the engine flywheel side facing you there is a torx screw in the block remove and insert a pin to lock no1 top. you then need to align marks on pulleys with belt. there is a direction of rotation on the belt so the marks are in the correct place. will not rev if intercooler hoses or flow meter all not plumbed up.

Hi just a thought were all the new valves lapped in properly?
I'm not familiar with Renault diesels but on most timing marks are Flywheel(crank), camshaft, on the camshaft at the back u put in a locating plate that locks the camshaft with the cylinder head. and on the diesel injection pump it is a locating dowel.
Sorry that is the best advice i can give.
