assuming you have fitted your pads correctly if you have to pump the brake pedal to get braking pressure then you either have air in the braking system which will need bleeding or a leak in the braking system check for fluid leakage at each wheel or it is possible that your brake master cylinder has failed if your not sure take it to a garage !!brakes and steering are the most important parts of your car
