British Gas 330 boiler - F5 error code?

Hi - our British Gas 330 boiler is showing an F5 error code - does anyone know a way to get it working again, or do I need to pay the exorbitant rates that British Gas want to charge me for fixing it!!! Really appreciate any help as we're freezing here!!!!

Thanks

Hi, only a gas safe engineer should be taking off the inner case which it has a rubber seal for a reason

It means your boiler is overheating. I'm just getting mine repaired it requires new gaskets but an F5 could equally be be some other cause so I'm told. If you are in London try Permaguard tel. 08448400888 they are sorting me out.

Hi it's an over heat problem Turn off electrical supply.
Take off outer case then take off inner casing " Top left hand corner thermostatic switch and little red button"
PRESS IT. Job done
