range rover 4.6 hse, red light for alarm is flashing, put key in to ignition and ignition comes on, when i try to start the car it asks me to input the engin code or press the key button.

when the ignition is on all the electricts work exept the drivers door ( mirror, window, central locking and key code operation

IF BATTERY HAS BEEN FLAT OR DISCONNECTED KEY NEEDS RESINKING TO VEHICLE,PUT KEY IN DOOR LOCK- PRESS OPEN OR LOCK AND HOLD DOWN BUTTON WHILE YOU TURN KEY TO LOCK THEN BACK TO OPEN .THEN TRY TO OPEN DOORS ON REMOTE KEY THEN START CAR,HOPE THIS HELPS,REGARDS ANDY.
