how do i fix my rear wiper,and high level break light?

my rear wiper wont move and my high level break light is not working,are they both connected to the same problem,any help will be appreciated

it might be that they run through the same fuse. has this been checked?? or they could share the same earth point on the rear somewhere. if this is not a very good connection the circuit is not complete.
