My Indesit WDG1295W washer dryer wont spin on long or short spin; otherwise seems OK. Any ideas please?

First thing to check would be carbon brushes, located in the motor. 2 of them one on either side in plastic holders, normally two screws holding them in place. remove one to check, should be at least one inch long, if not replace.
UNPLUG BEFORE ATTEMPTING ANY MAINTINENCE!
